New database: Journal Citation Reports
A new database added to the University Libraries' collection is Journal Citation Reports, Social Science Edition, from Thomson ISI. This database reports analytical data for over 1700 social science journals, including the notorious "impact factor." Use Journal Citation Reports to identify top journals in your field based on analyses of numbers and dates of citations. Journal Citation Reports is a companion database to Web of Science, the electronic version of Social Science Citation Index, Science Citation Index, and Arts and Humanities Citation Index. To connect to Journal Citation Reports, go to the Bruno Library's website at http://brunolib.cba.ua.edu and click on "Databases" in the Search column; then choose Journal Citation Reports from the list of Featured Databases in the box on the right.

New database: Global Market Information Database
Another new database added to the collection is Global Market Information Database, containing market reports and statistics from thousands of international sources, compiled and produced by Euromonitor International. The database includes consumer lifestyle statistics, country profiles, market research reports, and profiles of leading consumer products companies. The data include both historic trends and forecasts. To connect to Global Market Information Database, go to the Bruno Library's website at http://brunolib.cba.ua.edu and click on "Databases" in the Search column; then choose Global Market Information Database from the list of Featured Databases in the box on the right.

New feature: Article Linker Article Linker button
You've done a search in a library database and found the perfect article -- but it's not available full text in that database. Now what? You feel sure that it's available full text somewhere, but what's the next step? Article Linker to the rescue! Article Linker is a new product implemented by the University Libraries to make it easier for you to move among our databases and electronic journal subscriptions to find the full text of the article you are looking for. When the full text of an article is not available in the library database you are searching, you may see the Article Linker button or a link that says "Search for Article" or "Find a copy." When you see the button or link, you can click to find out whether the full text of the article is available through another database, e-journal package, or print subscription. Article Linker has been implemented in most of the library's article databases.
